Your Guide to Moon's July 4 Festival

The township's annual July 4 celebration today at will feature Zambelli Fireworks and a country music line-up.
The event, which kicks off at 4 p.m., is one of the longest-running Fourth of July celebrations in Western Pennsylvania, according to department, which organizes the event.
In addition to headlining performers Chuck Wicks and Moon native Sarah Marince, the event will feature local vendors and a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Ewing Road will close from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. today from Beaver Grade to Coraopolis Heights roads to accommodate the event. The Allegheny County Airport Authority is also temporarily the Interstate 376 East on-ramp to Ewing Road today.
