Local professionals, including one former Moon resident, will attend this year's Pittsburgh-based One Young World summit.

The Robinson Township-based Bayer Corp. will sponsor ten employees as delegates at this year's One Young World summit in Pittsburgh.

The attendees will then spearhead projects in their home cities, focused on realizing goals discussed during the event.

Bayer and are among the event's leading sponsors. Much of the summit will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Ten Bayer employees were selected to represent the pharmacuetical company during the event, including 27-year-old Eric Giles, formerly of Moon, who works as a Bayer senior research and development specialist, according to a company statement.

Other Bayer attendees from the company's Robinson offices are Kassie Leuschel, 25; Ian Nash, 24; Erik Christianson, 27; Marissa Lee, 26;  Caitlin Abraham, 23; and Jenny Allison, 28.

RMU will also sponsor several recent alums at the event.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
