Winter Weather Advisory: More Snow on the Way

The snow is expected to arrive late Friday night.

The National Weather Service in Moon Township has issued a winter weather advisory for a wide portion of Western Pennsylvania from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The storm is expected to drop 2 to 4 inches of snow by the end of the day Saturday.

  • Friday night: Light snow likely, mainly after 4 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 26. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than 1 inch possible.
  • Saturday: Light snow, mainly before 3 p.m. High near 33. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
  • Saturday Night: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
