Winter Weather Advisory in Effect Until 10 a.m. Thursday

National Weather Service forecasts freezing rain, sleet and snow.

The National Weather Service in Moon has issued a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m Thursday that calls for a mix of light freezing rain, sleet and snow.

A coating of up to one-tenth of an inch of freezing rain could accumulate, the weather service stated on its website.

"A winter weather advisory means that snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties," the National Weather Service stated. "Use caution while driving and report snow and ice accumulation to use the National Weather Service by calling toll free 1-877-633-6772."
