Roads Getting Slick: See Conditions Before You Head Out

The National Weather Service in Moon Township is forecasting several inches of snow Friday afternoon, and road conditions are deteriorating.

Due to weather conditions, all after-school events in the Moon Area School District, including tonight's basketball game, have been cancelled. Saturday events, including athletics, have also been cancelled.

Buses will pick up Moon Area High School students 20 minutes early today and middle school students 10-15 minutes early. Elementary school students will arrive home on schedule.
Robert Morris University will close at 2 p.m. today, due to severe weather.
In addition, all Friday after-school and Saturday events before noon, including athletics and detention, in the Montour School District have been cancelled, according to a district announcement.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School has cancelled all Friday-night activities in the district. Tonight's varsity basketball game has been postponed until Saturday.
