Reminder: Port Authority Service Cuts in Moon Begin Sunday
In case you forgot, your commuting schedule may change very soon.
Commuters in Moon may soon need to find another ride to work.
Port Authority of Allegheny County's board of directors to move forward with a 15-percent service reduction to its routes and to lay off 180 employees.
All service changes take place this Sunday. The reduction is Port Authority's way of addressing a loss in state funding -- 29 bus routes throughout the region will be eliminated, including the 25 Moon route.
