Relay for Life Gets Under Way at Robert Morris University

The annual American Cancer Society event takes place Saturday and Sunday in Moon.

Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society's largest annual fundraiser, Saturday afternoon at Robert Morris University. 

Teams are walking the track at Joe Walton Stadium for a 24-hour period to raise money for cancer treatment research. Moon has hosted the Relay for 18 years, and the event this year is expected to draw nearly 400 people, according to organizer Nancy Verderber.
