Patch Pet: Meet Alex

Moon might just be the perfect home for this brown Tabby looking for a family.

Alex is a 1-year-old brown Tabby who is friendly yet shy, particularly around loud noises. He’s waiting for someone to adopt him from Animal Friends.

This affectionate guy’s mother was dropped off at a vet’s office when she was pregnant. After she delivered, all of his siblings were taken home, but poor Alex was left behind. His previous caregiver speculates that no one chose him because of a skin condition that left him with patches of missing fur. To the people at Animal Friends, though, his strange appearance only adds to his charm.

Alex loves attention and other cats. He especially likes to be held and petted. Alex’s caregiver also said he was having trouble using his litter box, but he’s doing just fine with his litter at Animal Friends. The staff there will be glad to share tips to make sure Alex continues to have success Alex is neutered, up-to-date on shots and micro-chipped. Potential adopters can meet the charming, sweet and affectionate Alex at Animal Friends.
