There's no one American Dream, but a multitude of American Dreams in which people strive toward. And the 900 communities that Patch covers throughout the country provide us with examples of that each day.

We see businesses in turmoil, college grads returning home unable to find employment and senior citizens struggling to pay bills. We also see families rallying together, volunteers inspiring communities and companies striving to innovate.

Patch is your community news site at a purely local level. We're here to place a special spotlight on Moon's stories along these fault lines.

Our new Dispatches series will be comprised of compelling vignettes and snapshots of this community's story during this era of uncertainty.

Of course we can't do this without your help. Tell us about the stories and issues in Moon that go to the heart of the American Dream.

This is a unique moment in the history of our country, and Patch is uniquely positioned to explore and amplify the stories that capture that moment.
