PA State Police Taking Part in Point Park's Criminal Justice Career Day

Career day runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Point Park University.

Are you interested in a career in law enforcement?

The Pennsylvania State Police with Point State University's Criminal Justice Program and Career Development, will host a "Law Enforcement Career Day" today, March 27 at the university.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lawrence Hall Ballroom, 201 Wood St., Pittsburgh.

Troopers who perform the job daily and a recruiter will be available to talk to interested individuals about career opportunities available within the state police. 

The application period is currently open for the trooper position. All majors and fields of study may apply. The deadline is Tuesday, April 2.

Other police departments and law enforcement agencies also will be recruiting at the event.
