When/Where:11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Sewickley Valley Historical Society at the Center for the Arts.
Why Go: This exhibition features late Victorian and early Edwardian fashions from some of Pittsburgh's most prominent families.

When/Where: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Heritage Presbyterian Church, Franklin Park.
Why Go: Proceeds from this all-you-can-eat taco dinner, which the Franklin Inn is sponsoring, will benefit Heritage's Youth Mission projects.
Admission: Tickets in advance are $12.50 for adults and $7.50 for children; $15 for adults and $9.50 for children at the door.
3. LUNCH AND LEARN CONVERSATIONAL ITALIAN
When/Where: Noon to 1 p.m. today, Moon Township Public Library.
Why Go: This language group will help residents brush up on their Italian or take the first steps in learning this Romance language.

4. WORLD BAZAAR
When/Where: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Sewickley Public Library.
Why Go: Children in kindergarten through fifth grade can take part in this event, in which students are invited to help make the library festive-looking for the Summer Reading Club.

When/Where:7:30 p.m. Saturday at Consol Energy Center, Pittsburgh.
Why Go: The Power will take on the Cleveland Gladiators with a half-time show that features members of The Clarks.
