Why Go: The magic of the circus as well as the acrobatics and elephants are sure to impress all ages. The proceeds help support Shriners medical programs for children.

JBF Pittsburgh Children and Maternity's Consignment Sale
When/Where: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Robert Morris University Island Center, Neville Island.
Why Go: Join Just Between Friends at its semi-annual consignment event.
Pricing: $3 admission fee. Register at its website.
Open House to Benefit the Sewickley Community Center
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Sewickley Community Center.
Why Go: Attend the fundraiser to take a historical journey of the center, and learn about its future in the community.
Pricing: Donations.
Carnegie Museum of Science On-stage Dinosaurs
When/Where: 2 p.m. Saturday at Moon Municipal Building.
Why Go: Clearview Credit Union and the Moon Township Public Library will sponsor the event, which will take you on an educational journey to the era of dinosaurs: Learn about what they ate and how they lived.
Pricing: Free event, but community members must register here.
The Pittsburgh Super Stroll
When/Where: Noon Sunday at University of Pittsburgh, Oakland.
Why Go: Walk with the Greater Pittsburgh Community and the Humanitarian and Environmental Alliance in this event that benefits childhood health care.
Pricing: Participants are asked to make pledge donations of $5 or more to benefit the Free Care Fund.
