3. Conference for parents on college-selection process

The Moon Area School District will host a conference for parents of eleventh-grade students to discuss the college selection process, scholarship searches and more. 

The meeting takes place at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the school LGI room. 

4. RMU men's hockey takes on Mercyhurst

The Robert Morris University men's hockey team will take on rival Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Neville Island Sports Center.

5. Allegheny County Council meets at RMU

Allegheny County Council will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. at Robert Morris University to consider a 30-year agreement between the county and energy company Consol Energy, which has bid to drill on land surrounding Pittsburgh International Airport.
