Moon Board of Supervisors meets Wednesday

The township's Board of Supervisors will hold its monthly regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the on Beaver Grade Road.

Township offices closed for Memorial Day

The  as well as the Moon Township are closed today in observation of the Memorial Day holiday. 

Library promotes skin cancer-awareness

The Pennsylvania Department of Health will sponsor the 40-minute program at 7 p.m. Thursday to teach residents basic ways to prevent sun damage. 

Those in attendance will also have the chance to use Derma Scan, a tool used to assess skin and determine risk for sun damage. 

The event is free to attend, but residents should register by calling 412-269-0334.

Finals scheduled for Moon underclass meMBERS

students in grades 9, 10, 11 are scheduled to take final examinations throughout this week. 

Students at  High School, meanwhile, will have their last day of classes on June 3.

Trello Cioccolato Hosts Pizza Party on Patio

Residents can stop by 7 p.m. Thursday for a gourmet pizza cooking class on the patio of the chocolate shop at 914 Beaver Grade Road. 

Pizzas will be cooked in Trello's brick oven, and the event will include refreshments and live entertainment.
