Man charged in Brodhead Road carjacking faces jury trial

A man charged with ramming into the cars of two women before dragging a third woman out of her vehicle, stealing it and fleeing to West Virginia is scheduled to appear today in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Joseph Manna, 28, of McKees Rocks, is with two counts each of receiving stolen property, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless driving, three counts of reckless endangerment and one count each of robbery and criminal mischief in connection with the Jan. 15 attacks.

Manna was originally slated to go to trial in July, but the hearing was .
