1. Comprehensive Planning Commission to meet

The Comprehensive Planning Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the township municipal building. 

2. Library fiction club to meet

The Moon Township Public Library's fiction club will meet at 7 p.m. today to discuss I Still Dream About You by Fannie Flagg. 

The event is free and open to the public.

3. Learn to ice skate at the Airport Ice Arena

It might be July, but you can still cool off at the Airport Ice Arena.

The arena is holding 50-minute weekly beginner's skating classes at 6 p.m. each Tuesday at the rink at 330 Hookstown Grade Road.

4. Genealogy Club holds get-together

Looking to trace your family tree?

The Moon Genealogy Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Moon Township Public Library. The event is open to the public and free.

5. Hyeholde to host jazz band, wine tasting

on Coraopolis Heights Road will host a Kavic Winery and the Carnegie-based 3rd St. Gallery Jazz Ensemble at 6:30 p.m. Friday. 

The eatery will serve up a picnic-stye buffet for the event. Patrons are encouraged to bring a blanket and dine outdoors.
