Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Moon Board of Supervisors to meet

The township will hold a workshop meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Moon Municipal Building. Check back with Patch for coverage.

2. Moon Area School Board to meet

3. Crescent Volunteer Fire Department hosts buffet dinner

The invites community members to its all-you-can-eat Italian buffet at the township fire hall on McGovern Boulevard. Dinner will be provided by Janice Catering and proceeds from the events will benefit the department.

The first buffet takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at the fire hall. The price is $11.95 per person. Drinks are $1 and takeout is available.

4. Moon Planning Commission meets

The Moon Township Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. in the Moon Municipal Building.

5. MCA-TV opens studio to area nonprofits

Pittsburgh-area nonprofit organizations are invited to promote their cause on Moon Township public access television.
