Howard Hanna Names Michael Cowden to Management Team

Michael Cowden has been named Sales Director of Howard Hanna’s West Suburban office located in Moon Township on Beaver Grade Road.   

At a reception held at the Club of Nevillewood, President Helen Hanna Casey said, “A hard worker, team player and extremely dedicated to his clients and his profession, Michael Cowden is the right person at the right time to lead our West Suburban office to the next level.” 

Michael Cowden has been with Howard Hanna since 2008 when he joined the company’s Nevillewood/Collier office.  His background includes the mortgage and appraisal side of the real estate business which has helped him excel in the listing and selling of homes while a sales associate at Howard Hanna.  An annual multi-million dollar sales producer and the top producer in the Howard Hanna Collier office the past two years, Cowden has also earned the company’s Quality Service Award for the past three years, has earned the company’s top-level incentive trips with Hanna Travel and is a repeat Pittsburgh Magazine 5-Star real estate agent.  He also is very involved with Howard Hanna’s Children’s Free Care campaign and his office’s fundraising event this year.

A lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania, Mike is a graduate of Montour High School and Robert Morris University.  He and his wife currently reside in Kennedy Township.  

Howard Hanna’s West Suburban office has 40 full-time agents and a full-time mortgage finance officer, Mikki Crown of Howard Hanna Mortgage Services.
