Looking for a job and hoping to meet potential employers face-to-face?

A group of 23 independent insurance agencies is hosting a job fair from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, at the Four Points by Sheraton, Pittsburgh North, at 910 Sheraton Drive in Mars.

The agencies are seeking sales and customer professionals, according to a press release from Brooke Baldonieri of Kattan-Ferretti Insurance in Latrobe.

Pre-registration is not required, but attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes.

"The insurance industry provides an extremely rewarding career," said Richard Cassidy of Kattan-Ferretti Insurance, one of the event's organizers. "The most successful insurance professionals are those who love working with people and providing customers with financial peace of mind."

Two other dates and locations for the job fair are:

  • from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, at Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh, Southpointe, 1000 Corporate Drive in Canonsburg, and
  • from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at DoubleTree by Hilton, Monroeville Convention Center, 101 Mall Boulevard, Monroeville.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
