Robinson PR Firm Garners Award
McMahon & Cardillo Communications were recently honored by their professional association.
Lynn McMahon and Sue Cardillo had to make some room on their crowded trophy shelf recently when they brought home two Golden Triangle Awards. The communications professionals were honored by their professional society, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), in two separate categories.
McMahon won an Award of Excellence in the communications management category for the Pittsburgh Affiliate's response to the national Susan G. Komen controversy.
Cardillo won an Award of Honor in the media relations category for FISA Foundation's 100th Anniversary Celebration GIMP Performance.

The two women are principals at McMahon & Cardillo Communications, a Pittsburgh-based strategic communications firm. According to the company, they have won more than 100 local, regional, and national awards for the effectiveness of their work since 1997.
The IABC Golden Triangle Awards recognize communication effectiveness and are the highest awards presented by the local chapter. the trophies were awarded at the 33rd Annual IABC Pittsburgh Golden Triangle Awards dinner on Sept. 27.
