Local Chamber of Commerce Hosts 'Women Who Inspire'

The Pittsburgh Airport Area chamber is sponsoring a series of speakers as part of a program for its women's networking group.

The Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce yesterday hosted Pittsburgh-based entrepreneur and etiquette coach Demetria Pappas

Pappas spoke about her career and the challenges of balancing motherhood with professional life.  

Pappas, of Mt. Lebanon, is the founder of Mother May I, an area etiquette coaching business that primarily serves children and teens as well as corporate clients.

Pappas said at Mother May I she is "in the business of teaching people how to be nice." 

Pappas spoke as a part of the chamber's new women's networking group. More than 50 professionals from Moon-area organizations and businesses attended the event.

The event was held at the Double Tree hotel on University Boulevard.
