Chevron: 'Bang, Zoom, Straight to the Moon' (Kmart Property)

Kmart announced just last week that the Moon store on would close in July.

Chevron announced Wednesday that it plans to acquire the Kmart property on Scott Boulevard in Moon Township—and an adjacent parcel—for a potential regional headquarters.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Chevon reached agreements to acquire the store property and an adjacent, 42-acre parcel of vacant land known as Marketplace Landing that is owned by Roy F. Johns Jr. Associates.
