Bites Near Us: The Sewickley Hotel

Patch crosses the bridge to try out this upscale Sewickley tavern.

The looks like a bar straight out of Cheers or an old movie.

It's got red-checkered floors, wooden booths and dim lighting. The walls are lined with old movie posters, and the daily specials are visible from a large chalk board hung on an exposed brick wall. It's a cozy, intimate eatery with an inviting ambiance.

The restaurant, which is on Beaver Street in Sewickley, is a self-proclaimed fine-dining warm tavern. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the service is friendly. Although your meal will be satisfying, your bill can get a little pricey.
