Anthony Jr.’s  has an old-school feel. The tables are covered in red or green-checkered tablecloths; the walls are adorned with pictures of Italy and black and gold memorabilia. The eatery has a comfortable character to it, partly credited to the friendly and sociable staff.

The broad menu offers everything from wings, wraps and wedgies to sandwiches, salads, gyros and more. Popular Italian dishes include pizza and pasta.

Traditional hand-tossed pizzas start at $5.99 for a four-cut junior and range to $12.99 for a 16-cut jumbo. The hand-tossed specialty pizzas, which cost $8.99 for a junior to $19.99 for a jumbo, include barbecue chicken, spinach, and steak lover’s.

Hoagies, such as the Italian, steak, and grilled portabella mushroom, are $4.95 for a 6-inch and $7.95-$8.95 for a 12-inch.

The menu offers more than 25 pasta entrees, which include the spaghetti or ziti and meatballs or hot sausage for $9.99.

Patrons can enjoy their dinner in the dining room while catching up on the news or local sporting event on one of the numerous televisions placed throughout the house. The restaurant has a small bar for patrons to order drinks from, although there is not a lot of bar seating since the eatery is focused on its family-friendly atmosphere. The menu also is available for take-out and delivery.

Anthony Jr.’s is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon until 10 p.m. Sunday.
