Hayride Tractor Crash Causes Multiple Injuries in Findlay

Several patients were taken to the hospital following a reported hayride rollover crash Saturday evening on a farm in Findlay Township.

According to Findlay police, the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. during a 60th anniversary party on private property between Route 30 and Strauss Road.

Findlay police reported the tractor was carrying about 20 adults and children when the driver lost control and the hayride overturned, ejecting everyone off the vehicle.

Police said eight people suffered injuries, six being moderate injuries.

KDKA reports one child was taken to Children’s Hospital of UPMC, and the other adults were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries that ranged from lacerations, broken bones, bruises and contusions, though nothing life-threatening.

Wet ground is believed to have been a contributing factor.
