The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Allegheny County.

The watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. Monday.

"A strong upper level disturbance will produce showers and embedded thunderstorms through the first half of tonight," according to the National Weather Service website. "This may cause rainfall up to 2 inches in an hour or two, which would lead to flash flooding."
