OLSH Takes Home Honors at CLO Gene Kelly Awards

The school wins in two categories for its production of "Little House of Horrors."

Students at took home two honors Saturday night from the Pittsburgh CLO's Gene Kelly Awards in Pittsburgh.

The school's production of won in the Best Lighting Design and Best Scenic Design categories. The production was nominated in seven categories this year.

Students from the 60-member cast also took to the stage at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts to perform a number from the musical.

Best Actor -- Luke Halferty, Central Catholic, "Fiddler on the Roof"

Best Actress -- Kirsten Hoover, North Hills, "No, No, Nanette" 

Best Supporting Actor -- Matt Augustniak, North Hills, "No, No, Nanette"

Best Supporting Actress --Stephanie Higgins, North Hills, "No, No, Nanette"

Best Scenic Design -- Woodland Hills, "The Phantom of the Opera," (Level 3), Chartiers Valley, "Footloose," (Level 2) and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, "Little Shop of Horrors" (Level 1)

Best Costume Design -- Woodland Hills, "The Phantom of the Opera," (Level 3), Central Catholic, "Fiddler on the Roof," (Level 2)  and St. Joseph, "Beauty and the Beast" (Level 1)
