Moon Students to Perform '101 Dalmatians,' 'Big, Bad Musical'

Students at the high school will offer up their take on a Disney classic and a storybook spin-off for this year's fall production.

Student performers at Moon Area High School will open their rendition of both Disney’s 101 Dalmatians and the Big, Bad Musical at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at the high school auditorium. 

Both family-friendly musicals will run back-to-back and span 45-minutes each.

Additional shows will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Nov. 12.

Music director Laura Mitchell said the production is seeking elementary students to take part in four numbers of 101 Dalmatians.

Elementary schoolers wishing to join in on the show can attend rehearsals on the following dates:

Oct. 23: 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 24: 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 25: 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 29: 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Oct. 31: 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Nov. 1: 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.

Evening rehearsals for the show’s cast will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on during the week of Nov. 4.
