Why Go: Have an egg-cellent time with your family creating unique Easter eggs in preparation for the Easter holiday. Be sure to bring a basket with you to carry home your creations.

2. ALL ABOUT CHOCOLATE

When/Where: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at , Moon.


Why Go: Um, it’s all about chocolate. There will be chocolate desserts, chocolate candies, a chocolate fountain, chocolate snacks, tea, coffee and champagne. No one younger than 21 is permitted.

3. DISNEY IN CONCERT

 
When/Where: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Heinz Hall, Downtown.
 

Why Go: The concert features music, film clips and artist renderings, showcasing a variety of musical scores from popular Disney movies.
 

Pricing: Tickets are $20-$90.

4. PPG PARTY FOR THE PLANET
 

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, Highland Park, Pittsburgh.

Why Go: Celebrate Earth Day with games, crafts and animals.

Pricing: All activities are free and included with general admission.

5. AMERICAN GIRL TINY TREASURES

When/Where:  2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Sewickley Public Library.

Why Go: Learn how to turn bottle caps, golf tees and much more into something special. The American Girl craft book "Tiny Treasures" inspired this program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

When/Where: 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 14, at Children’s Community.

Why Go: Students have been working since January to put together the gallery spaces.The life science curriculum inspired the Earths Biome’s show, a nature-themed art showcase. Each child has six art pieces in the show. 

Pricing: Free.

 

7. FAMILY JUGGLING NIGHT

When/Where: 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 14, in the Quaker Valley Middle School auditorium.

Why Go: The middle school Juggling Club is hosting its eighth annual "Family Juggling Time and Juggling Competition." The first hour is devoted to family juggling, and the second hour is all about competition.

Pricing: Free admission, refreshments and door prizes.
