A Visit With Mrs. Lincoln

The Moon Township Historical Society will be hosting Mary Todd Lincoln presenter Joanne P. Shelby-Klein.  She is bringing a replica of the Lincoln China, a sampling of stuffed animals representing the Lincoln Pets, a replica of several pieces of Mrs. Lincoln's jewelry and a Mrs. Lincoln doll with a replica of one of her gowns.

The Title of her program is "A Visit with Mrs. Lincoln". The background for the talk is it is the morning of Friday April 14, 1865, and Mrs. Lincoln is reflecting on her years as First lady and life with Mr. Lincoln as she plans their trip to Fords Theater to see the play "Our American Cousin". Join us at 6:30 PM in the Moon Township Public Library.
