Where Did the Summer Pool Weather Go?

The temperatures in July were cooler than normal, and they're going to stick around for the next few weeks.

July was cooler than normal in Moon and Robinson, and it's predicted to stay that way for the foreseeable future, according to the Post-Gazette.

The average high temperature in Pittsburgh in August is 83, according to weather.com, but the high temperatures during the next week are predicted to in the 70s.

The reason for the summer "chill" is an unusual weather pattern hitting the eastern part of the United States, states the newspaper. A slow-moving, low-pressure system came from the east toward the midwest in early July, creating the lower than average temperatures.

The cooler temperatures are predicted for the next few weeks, according to the report.
