West Hills DUI Task Force Begins Patrols

The West Hills DUI Task Force is planning upcoming sobriety checkpoints to help keep impaired drivers off the road.

According to Moon police Sgt. Douglas Ogden, the enforcement operations are scheduled to take place during the weekend of Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23. 

Ogden, project director, said the operations will be in the form of sobriety checkpoints and/or roving DUI patrols.  

Police officers from Coraopolis, Carnegie, Avalon, Bellevue, Edgeworth, Leetsdale and Sewickley boroughs, and from Robinson, Crescent, Findlay, Kennedy, Moon, North Fayette, Ohio and Stowe townships will be taking part in the operations.
