Township Library Holds Father-Daughter Night

Or check out the Olga Watkins Band or an RMU hockey game this weekend.

1. Moon Area High School Open House

Where/When: The Moon Area High School on University Boulevard. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m on Feb. 19. 

Why Go: The new, $76 million Moon Area High School facility will open its doors for the public to check out. Plus Patch will help you wake up with free coffee!

2. Settlers Ridge Market District Beer Tasting

Where/When: The Market District Giant Eagle at Settlers Ridge in Robinson. 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 18 and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m on Feb. 19.

Why Go: Market District beer experts will be on hand to talk about craft and import beer. Not to mention it's free beer. 

Pricing: Free.

 

3. Sweetwater Center for the Arts presents the Olga Watkins Band

Where/When: Sewickley's Sweetwater Center for the Arts.  7 p.m. on Feb.18. 

Why Go: Check out the Olga Watkins Band's brand of blues and jazz. 

Pricing: Tickets for members are $8 when ordered in advance and $10 when purchased at the door. Tickets for non-members are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the event. 

 

4. Robert Morris University's women's hockey versus Syracuse. 

Where/When: RMU's Island Sports Center on Neville Island. 7 p.m. on Feb. 18.

Why Go:  Cheer on RMU’s women's hockey team as they take on Syracuse.

Pricing: Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for seniors and children.

 

5. The Moon Township Public Library's father-daughter craft night.  

Where/When: The Moon Township Public Library at 2 p.m. Feb. 20. 

Why Go: Girls and their dads can hang out, watch a movie and make crafts at this sure-to-be-sweet event.
