'Presents for Patients' Recipient Receives Gift in Robinson
Patients from Moon Township's West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center receive gifts through the St. Barnabas Charities program.
A patient of Moon Township's West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center received his Christmas gift early, courtesy of the St. Barnabas Charities "Presents for Patients" program.
The national program provides gifts during the Christmas season for patients in participating health care centers.
Patrick Brough, 53, of Neville Island, requested a lunch at Long John Silvers in Robinson Township as his gift.

Brough has been a patient at the Brodhead Road rehab center for three years. He received his lunch and a Pittsburgh Steelers shirt earlier this month.
The goal of this year’s campaign is serve more than 30,700 patients at 353 facilities throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee and South Carolina.

"It could be a pair of lottery tickets, some lotion, socks, a deck of cards," said Shelli L. Sommariva, communications manager for the program. "The gifts can be simple. Just anything somebody wants for Christmas."
Presents For Patients is operated as a community outreach program by St. Barnabas Charities and is co-sponsored by WPXI-TV.
