Patch Pet: Prudence Pines For a Home

Can you help this Lab-collie mix find a permanent placement?

Prudence, a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever and Rough-Coated Collie mix, was adopted but later returned to Animal Friends because her former owner became ill and no longer could care for her.

Prudence is calm, loving, gentle and a bit serious but seems to be coming out of her shell.

She enjoys watching the activity at the shelter and loves the attention she receives. The folks at Animal Friends have allowed her to hang out and mingle with customers in the on-site shop and have brought her to summer camps.

Prudence is shy but sweet, and she's happy when people are happy to see her.

She hasn't shown much interest in playing with toys, but the folks at Animal Friends are hopeful she will soon have more energy to do so again.

Prudence gets along well with children and most dogs. She likes to go for rides in a car and enjoys looking out the window along the way.

If you have the caring heart that Prudence needs and can provide her with a forever home; contact the Animal Friends adoption desk and arrange to meet her. Visit Animal Friends in Ohio Township or call 412-847-7002.
