Ohio Valley General Hospital Set to Begin Construction

The patient and visitor parking lot will be closed starting Monday.

KENNEDY TWP.—The Ohio Valley General Hospital patient and visitor parking lot will be closed for construction beginning Monday, July 8.

The hospital is replacing the current two-tier lot with a single-tier lot that will be safer and easier to navigate. Ohio Valley was awarded a $250,000 grant to upgrade the patient and visitors’ parking lot at the hospital’s main campus in Kennedy Township, according to the hospital.

During construction, patients and visitors will be directed to park in the Medical Office Building lot, which is adjacent to the hospital on Heckel Road.

There will be signs posted on the campus directing patients and visitors on where to park.

Construction is expected to take four months to complete.
