Local Culvert Replacement Begins Monday

Potato Garden Run Road will be closed in the culvert area Monday continuously through late August.

A $200,000 project to replace a culvert on Potato Garden Run Road (Route 3071) in Findlay Township will begin on Monday, July 8, weather permitting.

The project will replace the existing bridge and guide rail between Route 30 and Washington Road (Route 3089).

Potato Garden Run Road will be closed in the culvert area beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday continuously through late August. The roadway will remain open to the construction area for local traffic only.

More than 200 vehicles use this area of Potato Garden Run Road on an average day. Signs will be posted to guide traffic.

Posted Northbound Detour:

·        Turn right onto Washington Road (Route 3089)

·        Turn left onto Lincoln Highway (Route 30)

·        Follow Lincoln Highway back to Potato Garden Run Road

Southbound:

·        Same detour in opposite direction

Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down when traveling through the area.
