1. Disney on Ice: Princess Classics
Where/When: Consol Energy Center. March 4 – 6.
Why Go: Meet a cast of classic Disney princesses and their handsome princes in this ice skating extravaganza.

2. The Pittsburgh Toy, Comic and Childhood collectibles show.
Where/When: The Monroeville Convention Center. March 4 – 6.
Why Go: Don’t miss out on the chance to meet Adam West, the original Batman, and the Monkees’ Peter Tosh. Mike Lookinland, who portrayed Bobby Brady on The Brady Bunch, will also be on hand for the weekend-long convention.
Admission: Tickets for adults are $12 per day or $20 per day for a three-day pass. Tickets for children younger than 12 are $5 or $20 for a three-day pass.
3. Atlantic Hockey Championship Tournament
Where/When: The Island Sports Center. 7 p.m. March 5
Why go: Cheer on the men’s Colonials in the first-round of the tournament.
Admission: $7 for adults and $4 for seniors and children.
4. Prom Dress Swap and Shop
Where/When: The Moon Township Public Library. 12 p.m. March 5.
Why Go: Participants who donate gently used formal wear will receive a new prom dress free.
Admission: Free, but you must register with librarian Heather Panella at 412-269-0334.
5. Read Across America on Dr. Seuss’s Birthday
Where/When: The rotunda at the Mall at Robinson. March 5.
Why Go? Participants can get their photo taken with the Cat in the Hat and help create art projects.
Admission: Free event.
