Why Go: Take your kids in grades 1-5 to the library to learn about the Great Barrier Reef. The kids will go downunder and discover fun facts about Australia’s legendary aquatic life. They even can make their own diorama of a coral reef.

4. SUMMER READING SPECTACULAR KICK-OFF
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the , Moon.
Why Go: Register your kids for the library's Summer Reading Club and stop by for snacks, crafts and games. Magician Doc Dixon will be on hand. The event is for babies through fifth-graders.
Admission: Free.
5. SOERGEL’S STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
When/Where: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Soergel Orchards Farm Market, Wexford.
Why Go: Enjoy Sunday afternoon by taking a hayride to the strawberry patch to pick your own strawberries. If you’re not into doing the dirty work, try already made strawberry desserts. There will be children’s activities, such as pony rides, as well.
