When/ Where: 10 a.m. Saturday, 1212 Smallman St., Pittsburgh. 

Why Go: The Heinz History Center presents the fifth annual Quilters Weekend, showcasing the unique history of quilting in Western Pennsylvania and encouraging families to share the tradition together.

Admission: Free.

 

When/Where: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Ambridge Alliance Church

Why Go: Moon's will play host to its men's prayer group at the Ambridge Alliance Church. The event is open to teens, singles and fathers.

When/Where: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the

Why Go:   student Caroline Steliotes will teach this beginners class. The two-part course is free and open to all middle school and high school students. Registration is required. Click here to register.

When/Where: 6 p.m. today at the Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley. 

Why Go: Students will have the chance to make creepy, crawly, three-dimensional insects during this hands-on art class for ages 6 to 10.
