Get Out: A 5K, a Food Drive and QV Homecoming

What: Support the West Hills Food Pantry by taking part in this annual can drive. Bring canned goods or volunteer to collect nonperishable food items for the pantry, which serves families in need from the Moon, Coraopolis, Crescent and Neville Island communities.

Admission: Free

 

When/Where: Opens at 7 p.m. Friday; 192 McCune Road, Aliquippa.

What: Visit this haunted Aliquippa trail to ring in the Halloween season. The haunted walk is intended for older children and adults. Go to FreddyHaunts.net to find out more.

When/Where: 9 a.m. Saturday, 6906 University Boulevard, Moon.

What: Residents will attempt to fill a truck with items to be shipped to U.S. troops serving overseas.

What: Mark Homecoming celebration by attending soccer and midget football match-ups throughout the day.
