1. Robinson-Moon Patch turns 2!

Dec. 16 marked the Robinson-Moon Patch second anniversary! The site first went live on Dec. 16, 2010, and expanded to cover Robinson in May 2012. Thanks for being a part of our growth!

2. RMU men's hockey to appear in Three Rivers Classic

The RMU Colonials will take on Penn State at the Three Rivers Classic, held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Consol Energy Center.

3. Last week of classes before winter break

Students in the Montour and Moon Area school districts will begin their winter break vacations on Monday.

Montour students will be dismissed early on Friday. Visit the district's website for early dismissal times

4. Moon supervisors hold workshop meeting

The Moon Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Moon Municipal Building for the monthly workshop meeting. The board is expected to finalize its 2013 preliminary budget at the meeting

5. Moon Environmental Advisory Committee meets

The Moon Township Environmental Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Moon Municipal Building.

I'm having trouble deciphering/accessing complete posts above. I have not been able to follow theRead More Boards meetings since relocating a year ago to TN. The fact that it took them til 3 am to ok WalMart's plans for the space, makes me think it was contentious, as it should have been. Many of us with experience of WalMart and the existing problems with traffic in the area remain appalled to hear WalMart's moving ahead.
