Five Things You Need To Know This Week

1. Moon School Board Meeting
The Moon Board of Education will hold its business meeting at Moon Area High School from 7-9 p.m. Monday in the high school board room, in the lower level central administration offices. Patch will report on the meeting Tuesday.
2. Moon Township Zoning Hearing Board Meeting

The Zoning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
3. Montour School District

The district is closed Monday, with no classes for students. The Spartans will be away for football this week , playing at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Blackhawk.
4. Moon School District
The district is closed Friday, with no classes for students. The home football game at 7:30 pm Friday is also Senior Recognition Night.
5. Montour Trail
The Airport Area Friends of the Trail will hold their regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Forest Grove Fire Department. Call 412-264-6303 for more information. The group will hold a work party day at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. Call 412-262-3748 to get involved. Volunteers will cover the area between mile marker 0.0 and 12.3 along the trail.
