Five Things You Need to Know This Week

1. Moon Area School Board meets

The will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. tonight in the high school meeting room. The meeting will make up for the board's canceled Nov. 28 meeting.

2. Moon Board of Supervisors to vote on township budget

The is scheduled to vote on Moon Township's 2012 final budget at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Moon Municipal Building. Check back for coverage.

3. Moon band hosts pancake breakfast

The Moon Area High School band and orchestra will hold a pancake breakfast and cookie walk fundraiser at 9 a.m. Saturday at the high school. Boxes of cookies can be purchased for $9. Music will be performed by band members.

4. Moon Area presents 'Understanding Autism'

The Moon Area School District will hold a special presentation for parents and caregivers of students diagnosed with autism. The event begins at 9 a.m. Thursday. Participants must register to attend. Click to RSVP or learn more about the event.
