Animal Friends Presents: Brooklyn and Roxie

Check back every week to see more adoptable animals from Animal Friends!

Roxie and Brooklyn are best friends and are hilarious together.

This pair has been together through everything; losing their family, being transferred to Animal Friends and adjusting to shelter life. They are very good buddies and need to find a home where they can stay together.

Brooklyn is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix and, like most Pitties, loves to be around people. She loves people just about as much as she loves Roxie!

Brooklyn is a very happy girl and likes to give kisses and licks. She gets a little too excited sometimes about walks, so she pulls a little while on leash. We’re sure that her future family will be able to help her overcome that and our Adoption Counselors can offer some helpful tricks and tips.

Roxie is a 6-year-old Beagle/German Shepherd mix. She is the more reserved of the pair and will take a while to warm to you. She will need a family who will spend time getting to know her and giving her some extra attention and care.

With Brooklyn by her side, we know she'll do just fine!

Someone believes in Roxie and Brooklyn so much that they have sponsored their adoptions. These two are truly priceless!

Come meet Roxie and Brooklyn today. They are looking for their forever home. Could it be yours?

Both Roxie and Brooklyn have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or call 412.847.7002. You can also start your application online, so get started by clicking here!

Special thanks to Linda Mitzel for the photos of Roxie and Brooklyn. Furry Friday videos are produced by Hannah Ketterman.
