More About Moon Township Administration
The Moon Township Supervisor, Jeanne Crease, was appointed by the township's board of supervisors to oversee the community's budget, manage township personnel and enforcing policy decisions. The five-member board of supervisors are elected to at-large to six-year terms on the council. The board meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month in the township building.

Moon residents should pay attention to the special planning commission that has been appointed to review and perhaps revive the comprehensive plan - a ten year review. Residents are encouraged to attend the meetings to provide input even if they have not been appointed to the commission. I have been to two of the first three meetings and it appears those who have been appointed are not attending. Could it be that some of the appointees do not live in the township and therefore don't have much interest in what the future of the community holds. The next meeting will be in August - please plan to attend.
