Walmart, being the largest retailer in the world with its Walton family members having more wealthRead Moret han over 40% of the this nation, decides that donating a measly $65,000 to PA's poor is a worthy philanthropic gesture? I say it is disgusting. While most of their store employees receive public assistance, which results in a Walmart subsidy by the United States taxpayers, we the people end up subsidizing the store's "minimum pricing" practice. Walmart is a predator corporation. If they want to support the poor, then pay their employees a proper wage and support them with quality health care.
