Winter Weather Advisory: Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain in Forecast
National Weather Service issued advisory Tuesday.
Just when you thought all the snow had melted, along comes another winter weather advisory.
The National Weather Service in Moon Township said the advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) until 10 a.m. Wednesday for Allegheny, Butler, Beaver and surrounding areas.
From one to two inches of snow is forecast with a light glaze of ice possible from freezing rain, according to the weather service website.
Hazardous travel conditions are predicted because of the snow, sleet and ice.

Interesting! It was a year ago, nearly to the day, that we had a serious winter snowfall.
It was the day that several of us took a bus to the Detroit Auto Show. We waited in a Walmart parking lot for several hours as the snow fell, while we sat in our cars periodically warming up our engines to defrost the windows. The bus was very late picking up its scheduled riders at defined pick-up points. I watched as snowplows passed up and down the parking lot trying to keep up with the accumulating snow. We waited four hours before the bus finally arrived to rescue us from our cold vehicles.
