Whiz Kids: Moon Lacrosse Wins Big at Tournament, Dancers Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

Moon Area High School Boys Lacrosse
The Moon Area Boys varsity lacrosse team came out undefeated at the Big Shot Lacrosse Tournament, hosted Oct. 28 at Slippery Rock University. The team’s JV-A squad also won four of its five games, while the JV-B squad emerged from its final game with a win. The Moon Area High School dance teams raised $1,000 for breast cancer awareness causes in October with a bake sale outside of Walmart in North Fayette. The team will go on to participate in the “Cheer and Dance for a Cure” competition in Akron, OH.
