Sheriff's Deputies Find $400k in Heroin at Robinson Hotel

Two New Jersey men have been charged with drug possession.

Allegheny County Sheriffs deputies found more than $400,000-worth of heroin at a Robinson Township hotel room.

Two New Jersey men—Santino Drew, 35, and Thomas Martinez, 33, were charged with conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver and drug possession on Jan. 31 in connection to the incident, according to court records.

After obtaining a search warrant on Jan. 31 for the pair's room at the Comfort Inn at 4470 Steubenville Pike, deputies found 26,000 stamp bags of heroin in the room, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

It is unclear what prompted deputies to secure the warrant.

Drew and Martinez are held on $100,000 bail, each. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Tuesday.
